Kyra Minturn

 KyraMinturn Sedgwickwas born on 19th August, 1965 is an American actress. Her role as the main character on the crime drama TNT The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most popular. Sedgwick received an Emmy Award in 2010 and an Emmy Award in 2010 and a Golden Globe Award for 2007 for her portrayal Johnson. The series ended after the seventh season. Sedgwick is also famous for her role as a regular on Brooklyn Nine-Nine's sitcom Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was awarded an Golden Globe nomination for her role as Madeline Wuntch on Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born on the Fourth of July (1989), Cameron Crowe's Solos (1992), Heart and Souls (93), Phenomenon (2000) and What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The actress also appeared in The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick is the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald, an educator, family therapist, venture capitalist, as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech therapist. Her mother was Jewish, was of English and Episcopalian heritage. Sedgwick is a self-described Jewish, and she has claimed that she attends in Passover seders.
