Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She served this role from 2021-2022. A member of Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy communication director (2009-2011) and spokesperson for United States Department of State 2013-2015 as well as the White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki worked as a CNN political contributor from 2017 and 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001, as an official political contributor for CNN. She worked on the elections for the re-elections of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki was then named as the deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki was also the communications director for Joseph Crowley, a U.S. Representative, as well as the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 to the year 2006. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as the press secretary for Obama's reelection campaign for 2012. 20 years ago, Psaki was named spokesperson for United States Department of State in February 2013. The speculations that she was going to replace Jay Carney White House Press secretary once he left for White House in the year 21 were fuelled by her hire by the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as the replacement of Carney on May 30 in 2014. She returned to White House as Communications Director in 2015 and stayed until the end.
